Sweet Suzy “Original” Shirt
District Roots is an innovative U.K. based brand, developed by founder Edwin Etadafe, self-taught designer and t-shirt lover from Manchester. Tired of seeing designs which had no meaning, Ed went about building his own brand. Displaying creative designs using popular images, phrases and graphics from cities, District Roots is set to challenge the status quo.
The label was founded in February 2012 and produces instantly recognisable tees using original imagery and graphics based around the concept of being proud of your city. District Roots’ first t-shirt line ‘Heart of the City,’ seeks to ‘Inject some feeling back into your wardrobe’ and give customers more than just cool designs.
Born out of the founders’ passion and love for his city, District Roots intends to push this concept right to the limit. With more designs in the pipeline and increasing notoriety, District Roots aims to stake its claim in the t-shirt world.
